Insolite : Des lunettes qui aideraient à perdre du poids

Dans le cadre de la lutte contre l’obésité, source de problèmes de santé graves et dont les statistiques sont alarmantes, des chercheurs japonais du Cyber Interface Lab de l’Université de Tokyo ont mis au point des lunettes de réalité augmentée qui tromperaient le cerveau de l’utilisateur en lui donnant l’illusion qu’il mange en grande quantité.

Baptisées « Diet Goggles », ces lunettes s’appuient sur des techniques graphiques interactives afin de donner un aspect beaucoup plus gros aux aliments avalés qu’ils ne le sont en réalité. Chose qui permettrait de réduire l’appétit.

Cela dit, il faut éviter d’augmenter l’aliment de plus de 50% car le cerveau ne pourrait plus croire pleinement à l’illusion, sachant que les lunettes de satiété augmentée réduiraient la quantité consommée par un individu de 10%.
