Dédiées aux mordus de selfies, les lunettes solaires WeOn Selfie permettent aussi bien de se protéger contre les rayons UV que de prendre des selfies originaux à distance, grâce à un simple clic sur deux boutons situés au niveau de la branche droite de la monture, lesquels sont chargés de contrôler l’appareil photo du Smartphone.

Mises au point par la start-up espagnole WeOn, ces lunettes compatibles avec les systèmes d’exploitation Android, IOS et Windows ne s’accompagnent d’aucune application dédiée étant donné qu’elles requièrent uniquement une connexion Bluetooth.

Comme le précise Santiano Ambit, l’un des fondateurs de la société WeOn « Nous voulons changer la méthode de prendre des selfies. Les lunettes sont un accessoire habituel, elles nous suivent toujours… Nous proposons une solution qui permettra aux utilisateurs de ne pas avoir besoin de monopode ou de perche à selfie ».

Afin de démarrer sa production de masse, WeOn a lancé une campagne de financement participatif sur le site Kickstarter.
