À l’occasion du rendez-vous annuel de l’American Academy of Optometry (AAO), le laboratoire Alcon a présenté sa nouvelle lentille mensuelle Air Optix plus HydraGlyde qui se distingue par deux technologies innovantes, à savoir la SmartShield et l’AIR OPTIX plus HydraGlyde.

Dans le détail, la technologie SmartShield permet de protéger la lentille de contact contre les dépôts (résidus de crèmes, substances naturelles présentes dans les larmes, etc.) grâce à sa couche protectrice à la fois ultra fine et résistante. Quant à la matrice hydratante HydraGlyde, elle est spécialement conçue pour les lentilles en silicone hydrogel. En enveloppant la lentille d’une couche humide fine, cette matrice permet de conserver une hydratation longue durée ainsi qu’un confort de port optimal.

Dernière innovation dans la gamme de lentilles mensuelles Air Optix, cette nouvelle paire de lentilles est disponible avec des puissances aussi bien positives que négatives de +8,00 dioptries à -12,00 dioptries.
